As one of the UK's leading media outlets, our client is looking to recruit an ambitious individual as a Director of Editorial Content. In such a cut throat industry, our client is keen to stand out from their competitors by going above and beyond in terms of the quality but also differentiating material that they publish. They are looking for a candidate who has a demonstrable edge to what they have achieved and are prepared to stretch the boundaries.

A background within the media industry is a must have, and in particular, substantial experience of editing online content, especially through a variety of social media channels. A proven track record in delivering to tight deadlines without compromising on quality will be expected. Managing a team of 30 people across a range of roles, clear evidence of leadership and communication skills are required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the editorial strategy and direction for the business with a focus on quality and creating a difference. Having a relevant professional qualification would be ideal and increase the chances of a successful application. The role will be based in the South East head office with frequent travel to other UK offices locations. An excellent benefits package is on offer for the right candidate.
