As a leading UK financial services organisation, our client fully understands the importance of communicating effectively to the wider communities they serve and have created a Director of PR role to reflect the increased significance of this aspect within their overall corporate strategy. At a time when the reputation of financial services organisations continues to struggle, our client feels this role will be imperative to improve their brand reputation both at a local and national level.

The role will be responsible for developing and implementing a PR plan that is fully aligned to the overall business and marketing plans. An initial detailed assessment of the brand reputation will be required to ascertain the current level of public perception, identifying any shortcomings, coupled with an immediate action plan. A more proactive approach will then be required in the medium to long term and our client is committed to providing the necessary budget and resources in order to deliver the recommended strategy.

The successful candidate will have a number of years experience of delivering comprehensive public relations campaigns at a senior level, ideally within the financial services sector although this is not mandatory. A demonstrable track record in enhancing reputations and subsequently product sales will be essential as well as good budget management skills and a clear focus on objectively measurable KPIs.

Based out of the East Midlands regional office, frequent travel to the London head office will be required.
