Role Overview

As Interim Chief HR Officer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals and values. You will lead a talented HR team while collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive organisational effectiveness and support the implementation of HR best practice as the business goes through a period of change.

Responsibilities

● Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
● Oversee all aspects of HR function including employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and employee relations.
● Provide strategic guidance and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR-related matters.
● Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
● Foster a high-performance culture that promotes employee development, engagement, and retention.
● Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive and equitable work environment.
● Monitor HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements

● Proven experience as a Chief HR Officer or similar HR leadership role, ideally in the retail industry but open to transferable sectors.
● In-depth knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and employment laws.
● Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
● Experience developing and implementing successful talent management and organisational development strategies.
● Demonstrated ability to foster a positive work culture and promote diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
