Position Overview:
As the CFO of our client's financial company, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial strategy and driving the overall financial performance of the organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will have a broad scope of responsibilities, including:
Providing strategic financial guidance and leadership to the executive team.
Developing and implementing financial plans, forecasts, and budgets.
Overseeing the financial reporting process and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Leading financial analysis and providing insights to support decision-making.
Managing financial risk and implementing effective risk management practices.
Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and regulators.
Participating in mergers and acquisitions activities and driving corporate finance initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for this challenging and rewarding position, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:
Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role within the financial industry.
In-depth knowledge of financial operations, risk management, and financial regulations.
Demonstrated track record of successfully driving financial performance and implementing strategic initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide actionable insights from complex data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a solid academic foundation in finance or related field.
Prior experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, or investment banking is highly desirable.
